Harsha P.S. is a practicing visual artist based in Kerala, India. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, in 2025. Although formally trained as a painter, her practice has gradually moved beyond the canvas to engage with cloth as a primary material and conceptual site. Working primarily with discarded and worn fabrics, Harsha collects, cuts, stitches, and layers cloth to construct tactile surfaces that carry traces of memory, absence, and lived experience. Her practice examines themes of marginalization, social exclusion, and the intimate relationships between bodies, domestic spaces, and material histories. Through acts of reassembling rejected textiles, her works transform familiar materials into reflective spaces that speak of fragmentation, resilience, and reclamation. Rooted in personal and collective narratives, Harsha’s work foregrounds the politics of visibility and care, using textile processes as both material strategy and metaphor.
